Our team of stylists will bring your wedding design to life, making sure every planned element is executed with meticulous attention to detail. We coordinate packing, shipping, set up and installation, dismantle and returns. We take care of the creative chaos (and the non-glamorous parts) so all you see is the magic.

Your dress captured as art through The Lane lens. Elevated bride and groom portraits, executed with the same eye and level of detail we bring to The Lane’s editorial fashion shoots. A dedicated session, directed by The Lane Founder and Creative Director, whether before or after your wedding, or as part of your first look on the day.

Once your booking and date is secured, our team will connect with you to embark on your planning journey. We guide you through our unique process, map out a production, design and coordination timeline, ongoing work in progress meetings, and make sure you know what to expect at every point.

Once your creative strategy is confirmed, we commence production, researching and planning major logistics, including sourcing and booking your venue/s , key creatives and suppliers.

Every wedding we take on is bespoke. Our percentage-based fee allows us to work without scope constraints and remain fully aligned with your vision as it evolves.
The Lane’s fee is 18% of the overall wedding budget and includes full-service production, creative direction, design, coordination, and styling. This fee forms part of your overall budget and is not an additional cost.
Flights for The Lane Creative Director and Producer for the event day are included.
For venue buyouts, our fee is calculated on event spaces and services only, not accommodation, unless guest travel coordination is required.

For weddings under $200K, a minimum fee of $40K applies. Rates are in USD.

Included in our planning fee are flights and on-site time for The Lane Creative Director and Producer on the event day.
Additional travel and on-site staffing for destination weddings are scoped based on location and event structure. We confirm these costs in your proposal.
Exclusivity
To ensure our team can execute your event at our highest standards, we require that The Lane are the only exclusive wedding planners, designers, coordinators and stylists working on your event.
We are passionate about making sure your event beautifully embodies the bespoke creative strategy and brief developed for you, based on your vision and requirements, so we do require final approval on all vendors enlisted and styling decisions made.
Payment Structure
Your investment is collected in two parts: your planning and design fee and vendor funds. Both are managed by The Lane to ensure clarity, oversight, and seamless execution.

Planning Fee
1. Retainer
50% due at booking, calculated on the initial estimated wedding budget (subject to a minimum planning fee). This secures your date exclusively with The Lane.
2. Second Instalment
50% due 6 months prior to the wedding date, or 6 months after booking (whichever occurs first), calculated on the most recently confirmed wedding budget.
3. Final Balance
If the wedding budget or scope increases at any stage of planning, the planning fee will be recalculated accordingly and any resulting balance will be invoiced at the time the change is confirmed. Any outstanding balance must be settled no later than 30 days prior to the wedding date.

Vendor funds are collected separately and held in trust until disbursed to your suppliers in accordance with their individual contract terms.
Funds are requested as vendor deposits and balances become due. Each request is itemised and issued with a minimum of 14 days' notice prior to payment being required, wherever possible.
A schedule of upcoming vendor payments is maintained throughout the planning process so you always know what's ahead.
Vendor Contracts
For design vendors (including florals, décor, and styling), The Lane acts as the contracting party on your behalf. This allows design elements to be managed under a single scope, so you receive one itemised invoice rather than multiple individual contracts and payments, while ensuring cohesive creative direction throughout.
All other vendor contracts are issued directly to you for review and signature. We manage sourcing, coordination, and administration throughout the planning process.

We specialize in international events, having worked on productions in some of the most unique pockets of the world (from European castles and châteaus, glaciers in Iceland, marble quarries in Italy, crystalline salt flats in Australia, to the Sahara Desert of Morocco). We live and breathe travel.
We have established contacts in many areas of the world (and will stop at nothing to track down the very best in any location - which we have done daily for 15 years). We love both the challenge of a unique location or creating a transportive experience for guests close to your home.

As always, the more time the better. The Lane only takes on 3 weddings per year so our availability is limited and longer lead times mean we can secure the highest quality venues and vendors for your budget.
Depending on the scope, we recommend a minimum of 12 months notice to commence planning However we can be flexible, and we are well-versed in executing all kinds of productions in various timeframes.

No. There’s nothing we dislike more than any form of ‘package’ wedding. Every event we create is wildly unique because it’s tailored to you, so our approach is completely bespoke. We work with creatives, vendors and suppliers who are most suited to your particular brief and budget only, and no, we never earn commissions separately from vendors that influence our decision to put them forward for your event.

When we take on your wedding, we project manage, coordinate and work closely with every vendor regardless of whether they have already been booked, to bring your event to life.
The process requires an enormous amount of production and communication with the entire team. Our percentage-based fee is based on the entire budget, regardless of whether any bookings have been made prior to us being contracted.

The Lane will book all required travel and accommodation bookings for our team and any contractors required, including the a pre-wedding site inspection, and your wedding day.
Flights for The Lane Creative Director and Producer (2 people total) are included in our fee, for your wedding day.
Your personal travel, and guest travel and accommodation is normally excluded from our scope of services, unless required. -
We love when couples have a clear vision in mind to help us understand exactly what you dream of for your wedding or event (and we equally love the process of determining that, if you don’t!).
Our process from there is extremely intricate and we will dive deep into the creative strategy for your event based on everything we can draw from our communications.
We invest an unfathomable amount of hours into the creative process to develop your creative brief from this starting point- both sourcing and pricing as we go, so yes we do create a bespoke brief for your event, guided by your vision.
